About the Red Ball

The Fight Cancer Foundation’s (the marketing arm of the Bone Marrow Donor Institute) signature annual fundraising event, the Red Ball, is one of Melbourne’s premier event attracting more than 1,000 guests including Australia’s most distinguished.

Each year the Red Ball showcases an evening of outstanding entertainment, an elegant dinner with the finest local produce, complimented by a selection of boutique wines. Our exciting main and silent auctions provide guests with the opportunity to purchase unique items.

All proceeds from the Red Ball enable the Fight Cancer Foundation to continue their life’saving work in giving hope to children and adults with leukaemia and other life-threatening cancers through treatment, research, care and support programs.

The Red Ball is an exquisite evening featuring performances by leading entertainers, artists and exclusive special guests, accompanied by Australia’s leading musicians.
